Did we miss the signs of a potential divorce?!! EXCLUSIVE SUSS ON TOM AND KATIE CRUISE

A week ago, Tom Cruise took his daughter Suri and his son Connor to his awards ceremony in NYC. However, wifey -Katie Holmes-Cruise wasn’t there to support her husband on his big day, instead she was in Taiwan having fun without him!

We wonder, were there signs of divorce that we overlooked? According to People Magazine, Katie’s trip to Taiwan showed obvious signs that there was major problems in there marriage. Usually, Katie attends almost all of Tom’s award shows and outings..

Recently, they haven’t been seen photographed together, mostly separate or with Suri. As a matter of fact, Katie was seen in New York this week all over town with daughter Suri. They went to the theater to watch movie ‘Brave’, they ate ice cream, shopped and had fun without Daddy Cruise! 

Also, Katie’s style of dressing has changed. Usually she is decked out in style- heels, dresses, you name it. But now, she is dressing a little casual- button down shirts, jeans, and hair in a loose bun…back to the style she was used to before being married. We wonder did she loose herself in this marriage? Was she stressed about being “perfect” all the time? Was the success of her husband’s career affecting her?? Or was it Tom’s obsession to Scientology???- After all it’s one of the reasons why Nicole Kidman left him and not to mention his ill treatment of lower-ranked members of the religious group-noted in the NEW YORKER article.

Some believe that Katie married Tom to boost her career…hopefully that wasn’t the case because it’s definitely a wish that didn’t’ come true! Since their courting began over six years ago, her career was placed on the back burner and now she is more of a housewife and mother. Not quite sure if that was her choice, but she seems a little unsettled these days. 

In a recent interview, Tom commended his wife on her creative talents, but he also unconsciously implied a distance between them, he said: "One week I said to her, "You've been up in the middle of the night. Is everything okay?" She smiled and then threw this thing on my desk and said: "I wrote this script." 

Wow, can you imagine, your spouse-a producer, didn't notice your talents, and the fact that you’re capable of writing a script? These are things you should know about your mate, or should want to know. It shows lack of communication, interest and it also paints a dark picture of their marriage!! Moreover, It also suggests Holmes wanted more from her career than just being known as a ‘superstar's wife’. 

It seems like her and Nicole Kidman have things in common, Nicole’s career was also slipping while being married to Tom. When asked in an interview in Vanity Fair Magazine, whether women could have both marriage and career, she said the following about her marriage to Tom: "I think I had to choose. I think (the marriage) would have come down to it. I suppose it wasn't meant to be." 

Well, we hope they both find happiness (Tom and Katie), but moreover we hope Suri isn’t negatively affected by this divorce! At her tender age, it’s going to be difficult for her to witness her parents splitting up. 

No word yet on any alimony or child support, According to E! News, they had a pre-nup!! We wonder what was outlined in the contract??
